Yoga Instruction

Rochelle Barcellona is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher® through EMBODYOGA® and the Yoga Alliance. She currently teaches yoga classes for individuals, groups, and corporate employees. The styles of yoga she teaches are yin, slow flow, all-levels hatha, vinyasa flow, yoga nidra, and kids yoga. (She is approved to teach yoga, meditation and mindfulness through several homeschooling programs.) Rochelle teaches yoga weekly at several studios, including Sol Flow Yoga5 Feathers Yoga, and Soul Yoga at Serenity Spa at Palladio. Current Research

Current research suggests that a regular yoga practice improves one’s quality of life. Specifically, yoga may reduce chronic neck and low-back pain and improve function; improve cardiovascular health, reduce stress; lower heart rate and blood pressure; relieve anxiety, depression, and insomnia; help control diabetes; lower cancer risk; increase a positive self-perception; lengthen lifespan and prolongs youthfulness; combat PMS; and improve overall physical fitness, strength, and flexibility.
