I’m very excited that I’ve been adding regular yoga and meditation classes to my weekly schedule. I love meeting new students and the regulars every week. Listed below is my set schedule, however I usually end up subbing for other teachers as well during the week and will post those locations, days and times on social media so you can hopefully join me. Here is where you can find me on any given week.
Mondays: 5:30-6:45pm Yin Yoga
Soul Yoga is located inside of Serenity Spa at Palladio in Folsom. This intimate yoga studio (It holds about 10 students) is the epitome of zen luxury. Mats, towels and water are provided. Soothing music, essential oils and sprays are used during the practice. I use a lot of props in my yin class to help you safely reach your inner space and your connective tissues. There is a wide variety of classes offered throughout the week at this studio.
Wednesdays: 5:45-6:45am Guided Meditation/Restorative Yin Yoga
Here is another beautiful way to start your day, waking, moving gently and meditating as the sun rises over Sol Flow Yoga in Cameron Park. This class is not heated, but the room is warm so you are comfortable. The studio is serene and lit with candles. I will guide you into meditation in the first part of the class, we will then gently transition to yin yoga poses, and finish with a final meditation to bring you to a calm mind and body for the rest of your day.
Wednesdays: 8:00-9:00am Gentle Flow (Beginning Sept. 6th)
Rochelle returns to 5 Feathers Yoga in September with a Gentle Flow Yoga class. This gentle flow class will help energize, heal, and provide clarity to mind, body, and spirit. In this class we combine a variety of styles, flowing and not, to create a logically sequenced class where the poses build upon one another. This type of structure helps prepare the bodies tissues to move better and more intelligently. A variety of poses, sequencing and modifications will be taught to best engage the body.
Thursdays: 8:30-9:45am Restorative Yin Yoga
I am back at Sol Flow Yoga, this beautiful and welcoming studio for a full 75-minute yin yoga practice. I use a lot of props to help “the pose get into your body” instead of using “your body to get into the pose.” You’ll receive physical, emotional, psychological and energetic benefits from this practice. And you’ll usually get some love in the form of a massage during class too! Sol Flow has many different style of yoga classes throughout the week.
All of these studios offer new students specials so make sure to check out their websites. Sol Flow and Soul Yoga both offer a 30-day for $30 special. Leap’s is $39 for 30 days. I hope to see you in class!
